# INDEPENDENT RESEARCH / AFFILIATION BOUNDARY

**Organizing entity:** Icarus Online LLC.
**Project:** The Garden, Research Field Station 001.
**Origin:** Personal conceptual exploration around AI harnesses and cultural context.
**Soberlink:** Mentioned as a possible work-related environment in the conversation; it is **not** represented as sponsoring, owning, reviewing, or authorizing this research.

## Do not cross these boundaries without authorization

- No Soberlink source code, proprietary harness, model configs, customer records, private prompt libraries, private performance traces, or production environments.
- No patient or sensitive health data, even pseudonymized, as experiment text.
- No employer-paid or restricted infrastructure if it would create contractual or intellectual-property ambiguity.
- No implication that employer endorsement or research rights exist because a person has technical access.
- No unsafe autonomous tool actions during experimentation. Use independent disposable sandboxes, read-only tools where possible, quotas, and audit logs.

## Separate invention, experiment, and publication

1. Keep development, hosting, funding, repositories, and documentation under properly authorized Icarus Online LLC accounts and personal resources.
2. Independently implement a vendor-agnostic adapter; do not copy an employer's private agent framework.
3. Consult applicable employment agreements, invention assignment terms, moonlighting/other-work policies, and confidentiality obligations before publishing or making commercial claims.
4. Use entirely original microfragments for the treatment or obtain licenses for any quotations, images, or recordings.
5. Archive public preregistration after the scope and legal boundaries have been reviewed.

**This is an operational caution, not a legal determination of ownership.**
